The 2s program is offered four or five mornings a week, and meets from 9:15–11:30am. As, the first separation experience for most of our 2s, our program focuses on providing a warm, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable away from their primary caregivers, while making friends, learning new concepts, building motor skills, and experiencing Jewish practices and traditions.
The 2s curriculum includes:
A focus on separation, socialization, speech/language, small and large motor skills, children’s literature, and recognition of colors, numbers, and shapes.
Jewish learning experiences, including weekly Shabbat celebrations, an appreciation of Jewish holiday traditions, and mitzvah activities.
Weekly music, movement, nature, and Hebrew programs.
